Surprise! I know It’s been quite a while since you’ve seen this website active. Probably close to a decade. My wife asked me last night why I reactivated it. I thought about that for a while, and the closest I could come up with to a solid answer is because I enjoy writing. Also, having been living here in the Republic of Panama for the past 18 months or so, I thought I’d share with you.
The most common question I get from my friends in the United States is why did we leave. Well, to make a long story short, we got tired of the rat race in the States. The cost of living and the cost of staying healthy were killing us. Thus, we chose the expat life. We love it here. Frankly, we should have done this way sooner.
Anyhow, for those of you who have been reading my material since I launched the original version of this website about fifteen years ago or so, you won’t find anything here remotely similar to what you may expect. There will be no political or religious articles, rants, or anything of the sort. I don’t argue on the Internet any longer. It keeps my blood pressure down and makes live easier all around.
I hope you enjoy what you will read here on the occasion when I have time to write. Thanks!
