I am professional and prompt, and officiate all types of ceremonies; religious, secular, straight, LGBT, combinations of different beliefs, etc.

I can even provide assistance with writing vows, and am also available for vow renewal ceremonies.

59533_515970768448377_1788309192_nWhen looking for a wedding officiant, a few things should be taken into context. Is the individual highly professional, experienced, and reliable? Are they discreet? Are they willing to work with me to meet my needs?

These are all very important questions that should be answered in a resounding “yes” for your special day. Make sure they’re legitimate, and legally licensed. Speak with them personally to get a feel for their personality.

600x600_1443119430683-lw577kr8a24bw74580x380I’ve been at this for a while. Since 1992, in fact. I’ve spent ten years as a civil rights activist, championing for marriage equality. I hold a PhD in Metaphysics, and I’ve spent approximately 12 years studying philosophy, world religions, psychology, and sociology, as well as being a retired author, writer and journalist. I am also listed on Thumbtack, WeddingWire, WeddingVibe, OneWed, and GayWeddings websites.

My basic rate is $150.00, and rehearsal attendance and travel time may reflect an increase in my fee.

Please, feel free to contact me for more information. I would be honored to be part of your special day.

    Al,

Four years ago, my wife and I had a lousy experience at our wedding using a Christian officiant/photographer that turned out to be a crook and incompetent photographer. If Beth and I decide to renew our vows, we’ll definitely ask you to perform the ceremony.
