Rep. Allen West (R-Fla) Wants To Deport American Citizens

“This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.” – John F. Kennedy

West Palm Beach, FL – Allen West delivered a speech at the Lincoln Day Dinner on behalf of the Palm Beach County GOP. It became apparent in very short order that Mr. West decided he would offer his opinion on who should be allowed to remain in the United States and who should be expelled from our shores. Included on his list are Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and, of course, President Barack Obama. West stated,

“We need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and my dear friend the chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain’t on the table. Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”

At first, I was going along with former Reid spokesperson Jim Manley, who offered this advice to West on his Twitter page,

“Me to allen west. You first asshole.”

But I decided to recant on my support of Manley’s advice, as it had almost immediately occurred to me that it would be the pot calling the kettle black. Let him stay, and let him continue to make a complete asshole out of himself.

West is a bigoted redneck with a tarnished military career. He and his fellow Theocrats, Teabaggers and other denizens of douchebaggery are not only bereft of any semblance of intelligence, rational thinking or reason, but are also ignorant, imbecilic, obtuse, brainless and dimwitted.

These people are fully immersed in their delusion that the United States is a Christian Nation and that prayer is the answer to all of our nations ills. They are horribly disconnected from reality and are going to continue their attempts to push us over the edge of everything that our founding fathers stood for until we either become the United Christian States of America or we all come to our senses and realize that the religious right are one of the first virulent delusions that the United States finally discards when we eventually remember the ideals on which we were founded.

“but get the hell out of the United States of America.””

A kind of posturing imbecile who thinks he has the right to decide for himself – or for the group of idiots he represents – who is or is not a US citizen.
An unmitigated republican teabagging arsehole who seems keen to represent himself as a representative of a party that at one time had as members presidents like Lincoln, Roosevelt and Eisenhower, but now manage only to come up with flotsam like Palin, Caine, Santorum, Gingerich et al.
A party in intellectual free-fall _ nay, the free fall has stopped they have hit the ground with the present crop of candidates some time ago, they are now burrowing below ground.

What a sad picture for a democracy that there is really no alternative electable to a president who has broken almost all promises he has made, who actually signed in law measures to repress freedom further by permitting the military to detain US citizens.

but get the hell out of the United States of America.

Hey, asshole, it’s their (and my) country too. If you don’t tolerate people with different political views than yours, then you don’t understand the concept of democracy.

the reason florida isn’t on the table is because it isn’t grown up enough yet to reach that high. it’s still using a highchair if THIS is the kind of public official it’s producing.

And the rest of the kids table is going, “Why do we have to sit with them?

You know, I always wondered what an assclown looked like. Thank you, Rep. West, for sating my curiosity.

Seriously, this man thinks that he has any sort of clue on what would be helpful to our country?

“Take your message of equality and achievement…” Yes, because treating people like people and giving all people the same chance is just such a horrible librul conspiracy.

The ideas on which we were founded are awesome! Especially compared to most other countries or any civilization throughout history!

There has got to be a better way of influencing America at large that we are not a christian nation. The hard part is getting politicians to leave their religion at the front door when they go to work. Wether a politician is sincere about his religion or not, I agree that it’s not always fair or polite to criticize a polititian for his religious beliefs. HOWEVER, we can see clearly that the stupidity gets out of hand. The only way to keep religion out of politics is to criticize the religions themselves. By doing so we also seem bigoted and infringe on their rights to have the freedom to worship. It’s a shady shady color of gray. I’d be more than happy to join a team that wants to come up with a plan to eradicate religious bullshit from politics while at the same time defending one’s right to worship. Perhaps a social change is inevitable… I’m optimistic. So in the meantime let’s keep exposing the BS to the American public who normally don’t follow politics.

And while I share Al’s passion to oust stupid religious ideology, I’m always looking for a good way to do it fairly, justly, and reasonbly. But sometimes ya gotta say ‘fuck it’ and go for the jugular. Use your mind and your wit to attack the heart of the problem. Faith and the religious reasons for having it. Damn, it’s frustrating, huh?

“By doing so we also seem bigoted and infringe on their rights to have the freedom to worship.”

Excuse me, but since when does criticizing idiocies prevent anybody from committing such? Since when does criticizing a practice infringe on the rights of the practitioner?
Are you sure you thought your comment through?
I have the right to criticize a belief system that is based on lies and more lies, and they have the right to persist to worship their lies. Nothing gray here.

What Manley’s comment ultimately means is that if West wants people who are anti-American to leave the country then he should be the first because his comments are anti-American. West should practice what he preaches or shut the hell up.

And if people who think like West had won 150 years ago, he’d be slave. Dumb.
